My Wonderful Trip To The Dentist

So today I went for my 6 month checkup at the Dentist.

She said everything thing was fine with my teeth and I didn't need anything done but would I like to have a scale and polish?

Now, my eldest sister Laura used to be a dental nurse and she told me how nice a scale and polish was so I thought "Yes please".

OMFG!!!!!!!!

Water was flying everywhere, I could taste blood in my mouth and the pain was horrible..
My eyes were watering and she thought I was crying. She kept saying "Please don't cry, please don't cry" I tried to tell her this was not the case, that I wasn't crying, but it was a little hard to talk when the dental nurse had a suction pipe stuck down my throat. It was a bloody nightmare.

Lately there has been way too many Spiders in my house and I have no idea how they are getting in or where they are coming from.

They aren't small spiders either.. Lets say around 18 mm in length!

I did a bit of research and the Spiders that have moved into my house are called "The House Spider" Or "Tegenaria gigantea"

Talk about speed! Boy can they run! Apparently, they can reach speeds up to 1.73 ft/s (0.53 m/s)

Just seems really random, these monstrous spiders coming out from nowhere. It's already Autumn here now, so maybe these Spiders are looking for somewhere to hibernate.. Can spiders hibernate?

I don't wanna kill them though.. And if me or any of my family could catch them we could let them go, but they are just too darn fast!

Here is a funny story someone told me about killing spiders :P

Before I Die...

I just finished reading one of the best books ever!


"Before I Die" by author "Jenny Downham" Is the most enjoyable book I have ever read.. It's thought provoking, inspiring, sometimes sad and uplifting at the same time.

I bought this book not realising it was aimed at the teenage market, but I thought I would read it anyway. And I am so glad I did, because this is a book for everyone, regardless of age.

It is the story of Tessa, 16 years old and dying of cancer. Tessa seems bolshy and defiant on the surface but, as you read on, you peel away the layers and find a mass of compicated emotions so powerful they grab you by the heart and tug very very painfully.

I urge everyone to read this book!
